Police Say Impound Law Unfair to Illegal Immigrants

Los Angeles police will ignore state's impound rule because they say it limits ability for illegals to get to work.

The Los Angeles Police Department will soon start ignoring California state law, which requires police to impound the vehicles of unlicensed drivers for 30 days.

The majority of unlicensed motorists in Los Angeles are immigrants who are in the country illegally and have low-income jobs. The LAPD says the state's impound law is unfair because it limits their ability to get to their jobs and imposes a steep fine to get their car back.

Yeah, if only they had come intop the country legally and obtained the proper documents like millions of other immigrants.

So sad.

...are you saying it is impossible?

Rosie and her family had no problems coming here from Mexico, learning english, and getting citizenship. It took them a while, but they did it.

My buddie Juan has no problem coming here legally from Costa Rica. It took him a while to get his citizenship, but we through him one hell of a party when he did.

If it was practical for those millions of workers that cross illegally now to do it legally, don't you think they would be doing it?

It doesnt matter.

You don't violate the laws of a country just because you think it is impractical.

..and when you get caught, you get arrested and charge with a crime. What to do though when a foreign national gets caught invading the country?

I think it's unfair that illegals can't vote.

Me too. Just think, we could then tell the entire nation of islam to cross into the country under the cover of darkness so they can vote to replace our government with one following Sharia.
