Like any small business, I wish them luck, but I don't understand the business model of opening between Coasters and Intracoastal.

When Rock Tacos opened just down the street from Dakine Diego's they didn't last long.

When A NY Pizza place opened a block from Cibelli's, they didn't last long either.

But business seems to be booming at Coasters and Intracoastal, so maybe there are enough thirsty customers to go around.

If the beer is good they will survive. Intracoastal is damn good brewery and Coasters great pub as well. The beer sucks they fail. LOL.

Lou's Blues really packs them in Friday and Saturday nights so that corner is viable for a hot spot.

I use to hang out in that place back in the 90s when it was the flamingo. No craft beer, they failed. LOL.

Hopefully they have a stage for live bands. Then they would really kill it.

Rock Taco did themselves in by allowing loud music past the Satellite noise ordinance, more than once... Plus they hired horrible waittress's and their grand opening the reviews were bad early. Doomed to fail in my opinion. Lil dos is doing really well there now. Satellite has always been small business unfriendly. Maybe not always, but my perception is that they are.

Another interesting drama may unfold on Eau Gallie Blvd. The old Crispers/Thai place has been undergoing remodeling "forever" to become a "Senor Loco's Tacos" but work is on hold or going insanely slow.

Meanwhile, almost across the street, in the old Charlie and Jake's BBQ location, the sign is finally up: Masa Taqueria and Cantina. Neighborhood competition in the taco department.

thats a difficult corner to drive to. you can ony get to it going south on A1A and the just as you turn west on Eau Galli hang a hard rt into the little parking lot.

You can't get to it from the westand I don't know if northbound A1A can cut the corner
