Axl Rose declines induction into Rock Hall as part of Guns N' Roses 6:31 a.m. EST, April 12, 2012|NEKESA MUMBI MOODY, AP Music Writer NEW YORK (AP) - The acrimony that helped dissolve Guns N' Roses nearly 20 years ago still lingers. Axl Rose announced Wednesday that he won't be showing up to see the band inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and declined the honor for himself. He sucks, GnR sucks (wellllll the guitar player was good) and neither should be in the R&R hall of fame .... IMO of course. ;-)

lana del rey? first time I heard her voice was in early November driving through Floridana on 1A. It was the World Cafe segment on WFIT. fyi, the airing of the 2012 Rock-n-Roll Hall of fame is currently being played on HBO.
Its a pretty good show with RHCP bringing the house down at the end. G-n-R played and talked about Axl not being there. They basically said it isn't about one person who didn't show up tonight, but its about the music that touched people and will continue to live after they are all gone. They were really appreciative of the induction. ------------------------- surf forecast |
