Liked the homage to Heritage so I'm adding this mini tribute to Peavey Predators. Have two 93/94 USA made Predators and I like them! One was $72 at a Pawn Shop and the other I paid $150 (including shipping on ebay). Rock hard necks with low action and cool sounding pickups. I have changed the nut on both (which Peavey parts department sent no problem). The pawn shop guitar just needed new strings (one string was tied on the bridge!) cleaning and the aforementioned nut and it is a dream to play. Quality made in USA! Look around, they are out there and ready to Rock! Edited: 04/02/2012 at 10:53 AM by Greensleeves |

Cool. Nothing wrong with a Peavey. I wonder if they still make anything in MS though.

Yes it looks as though they are making some composite acoustics there and that is it. Too many other awesome American makers for that higher priced market. |

Recently read on another site of a Peavey being bought for less than $100 in a pawn shop, so it seems there are more than a few out there. I know little of these guitars other than what Greensleeves and the other site said... that they were well made in the states. Will be looking for one ------------------------- Neilson 8118 |
