well, I bit the bullet and bought tickets today. But, I got the mid-range tickets but still lower bowl. Now I have to wait until June before the show...I'll count this as my one Magic game I would have gone to this year!

My brother in law does the pyro and special effects on that tour. He spent most of last winter touring Europe and will head out to South America and Australia in January. I plan on being backstage for the Orlando show.

What is cool is the crew gets all sorts of cool schwag. Autographed guitar, luggage and laundry bags with the crossed hammers emblem, tons of tour shirts and a personal ipad.

Check out his company Strictly FX

I bet that is a fun and challenging job. I can't imagine all the things that go wrong behind the scenes. From the egotistical musician to all the carneys you have to deal with. A rock-n-roll show is diffently a travelling circus. I've always liked the movie The Wall and have watched it countless of hours in my youth. I'm looking forward to this show! Rock On!

Excuse me for being off topic

Might be worth it if Glimour was going to be throwing some licks.  Otherwise its "Grab the cash with both hands and make a stash".

I'm not familiar with the Division Bell album although I do remember listening to it when it first came out. I'll check it out.

I've got Roger Waters Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking and it is very similiar to The Wall musically. I also at one time had all of Gilmours solo albums on cassette. But, as you know cassettes don't last very long!

Nicely done CentroDavo!

Amazing level of production and explains the tix costs ..... must be insanely expensive to take that show on the road and put on the number of times they are doing it. A close friend is a big shot with the Atlanta Journal Constitution and was 2nd row center for the show at Chastain Park (one of the great outdoor venues) ...... called me the next day babbling about how great the show / experience was.

I have been to a LOT of concerts .... but to this day the single best one I ever saw was Floyd in the ol Jax Gator Bowl ..... DSOTM tour.

A Word With: Roger Waters

The Wall Goes On, and Grows Even Longer

By JAMES C. McKINLEY Jr.

Published: July 5, 2012

ROGER WATERS has never done anything small when it comes to "The Wall," the 1979 album and rock show about his own psychic struggle that many music critics say signified the end of Pink Floyd's most fertile period. The first performances, back in 1980 and 1981, were groundbreaking in their scale, requiring stagehands to erect a giant wall between the band and the audience that was knocked down at the show's climax. With its animated graphics and giant puppets, it set a standard for rock spectacles.
