sometimes, living in orlando has its advantages.

a lot of area to cover and you always need a car to do so

however, there are a few areas that some places can be
with in walking distance so its not bad, but then again
you'd have to live in those areas

so, i figured, if there are awesome little places around town,
post em if you got em

google map that biznatch and show us your fav diner, hot
dog stand, mom n pop, or franchise restaurant that you
like to go to and just pig out at

my first EVER lil mom n pop spot is a place called chucks
right off of 50 on 17/92 and well worth the trip/ money spent

chucks restaurant

well worth it my friends

anyone have any places they like to eat?

This Maitland institution is still going strong. My office was 1 block from there for 12 years .... had a cheese steak once a week for 12 years

had food at the sand bar this weekend

wooo weeee!!!

fish tacos, fish burritos, and shrimp nachos.... good stuff!

and while i was eating my friends and i were entertained
by the fact that there was someone there that looked
like ET with a 1986 biker style bleached blonde mullet
that stood about a foot high....

oh, i have ate there!!!

i was working at the print shop down the street (alpha press) and would go by there and it would just be PACKED!!

i just went to the ravenous pig twice over the past couple of weeks

oh man.... i wish i could eat there EVERY DAY!

its expensive being that it is a portions restaurant but it is well worth it

i think the thing that makes it so damn expensive is that i always order about four beers when im at the table with my date

and thats just for me

4 Rivers for the best barbeque in Orlando, up on Fairbanks near I-4.  Brisket sandwich with fried okra and baked grits.  Get there early or late but don't get there during feeding time cause there is always a line.
