I really dig historical beer-related items.



I collected these artifacts and I'm having frames made up to put them on the wall of Coasters Taphouse in Cocoa Beach.


Pretty Cool Stuff.

During Prohibition, breweries did whatever they could to stay afloat. This brewery in Pennsylvania made Malt Extract Tonic.



Other breweries, like Anheuser Busch, produced and distributed yeast to deliver to bakers across the country.



But, as expected, many folks weren't happy, as evidenced by this 1920s vanity license plate:

I was in Chicago earlier this year and at a bar/restaurant that claimed they continued to brew beer through Prohibition as a speakeasy and brewed non-alcohol ciders as a front.
