UCF makes a great case for there being more than 4 teams in a CFB playoff for the National Championship.
New coaches and the QB goes out but the streak continues. Its 2018 not 1960 or 1970. Things started changing in the 80's. I saw it first hand when Dennis Erickson brought a spread offence to Miami. The axiom used to be: "Defense wins championships" No more. 25 in a row deserves a reward. There is some strength of schedule missing, but the totality of the accomplishment cannot be ignored. The current system rewards power 5 conference affiliation. Time for change. My final four: Alabama, Clemson, UCF, ( Oklahama, Ohio St, or ND ) A 2 loss conference tittle losing Georgia cannot be considered. ------------------------- So if you are a surfer I wish you the prosperity that allows you more time to pursue the salt water dream, and the true happiness that comes from warm water, clean waves and the companionship of your fellow surfers. If you are an internet troll just spewing bs then f off. |

It is rigged to keep group of five schools out. To even be mentioned to play in a new year 6 bowl the group of 5 schools have to be the top rated team AND win their conference. Why aren't those requirements for other schools. Including Notre Dame who didn't even play a conference championship game?
But, thanks for putting UCF in the top 4. We are turning heads in the world of college football. They will keep us out and the conversation goes into 2019 as UCF looks to be even a better team. How about our backup Qb? Darriel Mack played great. Only a freshman. Go Knights! |
