Going to drop the money to go from shingle to good metal or tile on our aged out single roof.

Lot of roofing companies around. Some small, some look like insurance claim chasers, some medium sized guys that seem to have a fairly long history in Brevard County, some multistate with francise type set ups...

Who does good residential roof work around here and stands behind their work?

Can sit on our thumbs and wait if someone good is busy.

Hi Scombrid, I'm a project manager for Renew Pro, and a licensed insurance adjuster. We work the insurance claim to help you get it paid for. (If the roof is old, it could be completely paid for even if it's missing only a few shingles from Irma).

Also, you can upgrade to metal or tile, but the difference in cost is not likely to be covered. However, if you have other storm related damages I can write those into the estimate and that buys you some funds for the upgrade in certain scenarios. Nothing comes out of pocket until the insurance company writes you that check, which at that point, I would hope you'd want us to do the roof and choose me to manage the project based on the quality of service provided.

They offer 2 year leak warranty on shingle roofs and have been around in Brevard County since 2013. The pricing isn't the cheapest, but the quality is there and it's not the most expensive either.

There are lots of options out there so just throwing this out there as I feel that you might be interested and I'd be happy to give you a qoute. My pm box is full so call or text me if you'd like to. 407-790-1944.

Metal roofing has taken a jump up due to the new trade tariffs.

It is up to you to delete some or all, and then it won't be full.
Delete from the "in box" and delete from the "sent box"

Then you can receive more messages,
unless you really want the phone call....

Call Mike at Certified 321-848-2878. He's done about 6 roofs in my neighborhood. Honest guy.

Thanks guys. I have phone calls to make.

Also, not storm related damage. Just an 18 year old 3-tab roof that is getting tired.

Oh yeah, I called G&G the other day since I see their trucks a lot in our neighborhood. They are 5 months out on re-roof and said they aren't taking new contracts right now.

G&G ??

from a friend on fb
Please do not use G&G roofing!!! We paid them in 2012 to put our roof on and during the last hurricane our back screened
enclosure came away from the house. Come to find out they didn't complete the roof. They just reshingled over rotten plywood and trusses.
It is scary to think how many more families this may have happened to.

++ for Lucas, ECRS. Has worked 2 roofs for me, impeccable work. Knows t
he details that make the difference for metal. Also has an excellent crew, all putting g in FULL day of work,, keep the job site clean, top notch manners too - no smoking or foul language around the kids and missus. Also noted they came and checked on customers after hurricanes, did some courtesy repairs and ensured well being of neighbors.

Wow! Sorry about G&G. They did my job about four years ago now. I checked them out pretty good at the time. The owner Ray drove us around to show us some jobs. They had a lot of positive reviews. Maybe they got too big too fast. I recommended them to a friend on the beach after they did my roof and he had a good experience. Hard to say. Two sides to every story. I called Spilker as well. They were my second choice. They do metal. They did not come out and give me an estimate though, they did the estimate of the property appraisers aerial pic which I thought was odd.

With Google maps, you can get exact measurements of a roof just from the aerial view. All you need is the pitch. You can also buy an aerial sketch of just about any roof. If no damages are being reported to an insurance, the roofer doesn't even need to come out to give you a qoute. Unfortunately hard to sell a roof to a homeowner without first meeting  in person. Its too bad I cant sell roofs from home.
