Hunt ducks and surf Playalinda all in the same trip when the stars align like they did recently. Had big reds chasing mullet through the spread too. My landlord back in DeLand did that when there were a bunch coming in from Blue Spring SP and ripping up the yard. There were five in the yard and he snuck up behind one that was about the size of a golden retriever and beat it to death. You should have heard the thump-squeal-thump-squeal-crack squish. I was asleep and woke up to the noise. The other four bolted. Didn't have a hog on the property for the rest of the time that I lived there. He had a 30/30 slung over his shoulder just in case. I remember hunting for quail with my dad when I was a kid. Now that was hunting. Those little bastards are tough to flush out without a dog. We did it though.
