Cape Canaveral - Electrical 2 Positions

SCLS (Space Coast Launch Services) a division of PAE

Pay would start at 15% below the starting pay of $37.58/hr . . . with 5% increase every
6 months until 18 months then level off ....
... but will also add 1% more Jan 2, 2018

Health benefits are excellent.

It's a "union job" ... TWU 525 (Transport Workers Union) so you would be "junior"
coming into a union protected position, meaning at layoffs and cutbacks in electrical
you would be first out the door, but with recall rights. I've also been out here just a
little over 28 years (never laid off, though we have had layoffs) and now we're all
getting old as the majority of us were hired in the same '89-'91 time frame. More
positions opening as we begin to retire .... and thus moving you up the seniority
ladder.

Used to be launch support and satellite processing (including cranes) but now includes
a bit of everything from building maintenance, lighting, ... almost anything electrical;
compressors, elevators, generators (big stand alone generators), and UPS systems.

No specific "trades" as we have construction electricians, electronic techs residential
electricians, .... and no electrical license required (though some are licensed)

Questions?? I can try...

FYI ... SpaceX is also hiring but reduced in pay (appx $10 less/hr)

Both Engineer and Techs...
(I know very little about SpaceX employment)
