Not me, some of the guys I work with lost everything in their fridges and freezers. Come to find that they called one of relief lines and were rapidly supplied with EBT/food stamp cards to cover X hundreds of dollars of lost food.

Its Food For Florida from the myflfamilies.com website. It took a little while to find it as it's not directly related to EBT and is a separate program disaster relief/ assistance program. Assistance is over for Irma, but now you can be prepared for the next one.

I generally prefer to let help like that go to the poor people who really need it.
I lost a lot of food, but can afford to replace it.

I don't understand how people could lose large quantities of food....It's not like we didn't have nearly 2 weeks notice that she was coming. If you were one of the people that stocked up on hamburger meat and steaks the day before the storm, you're probably and idiot to begin with and have no business being reimbursed for the loss.

For 2 days after the storm we had a neighborhood cookout/cleanup party.

Nice! Winn Dixie was discounting stuff in the cold case to get rid of it before the storm. I scored a bunch of $5 lobster tails and 1/2 price steaks and ate well after the storm!
