Is there an NFL team that will take Kapernick ?

fyi, NFL first preseason game is tonight. Cowboys and Cardinals.

Who is back up to Tannehill? They better sign Kapernick quick!

The Miami Dolphins still have not gotten the results of Thursday's MRI to Ryan Tannehill's left knee but this is what we know from sources within the team and those close to the Dolphins quarterback:

The Dolphins know that Tannehill hyperextended his left knee - the same one that last December suffered a partially torn ACL That is the minimum of what the player is dealing with now.

A source close to Tannehill said there is the possibility of posterior cruciate ligament damage.

[UPDATE: The Dolphins have now ruled out the possibility of there being PCL damage.]

NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala reports there is no structural damage to Ryan Tannehill's left knee after he exited practice following a non-contact spill, per a member of the organization. Tannehill underwent an MRI after practice and his knee is as sound as it was before, per Kinkhabwala.

The knee did buckle, and the Dolphins are deciding how to proceed after the scare.

The news is a huge sigh of relief in Miami. Tannehill could miss some time in training camp as the Dolphins take it slow with their starting quarterback.

Cutler had a good season with Gase.

Could be worse - could be Krapernick.

I'd stick with Moore until Tannehill's knee's not tender.

Might as well get Fran Tarkenton, same thing.

There goes the season......

Dolphins agree to one-year, $10M deal with QB Jay Cutler

I guess the Cutler deal came down to Coach Gass being familiar with him. I think Moore is good enough. Not worried about Ajayi or Landry.

Paid way too much for Cutler. The Tannehill salary situation and now Cutler will play havoc with the Dolph's cap.

Until Brady leaves, being a wild card is the best I can expect.

So they are bypassing an A level unsigned QB for an old shoe because of politics.
Screw the NFL.

I don't think the Dolphins as an organization are worried about "politics". I was there last year when the Niners played the Dolphs at Hard Rock. Kapernick was lustily booed from the time he came on for warm up to the time he left the field. He damn near won the game single handedly. No doubt he is toxic. I'm as "prog" as they come. I understand his concern. But he has just shot himself in the foot. Someone will get desperate and pick him up.

Pro football fans booing Kaepernick made me step back and look at the game that I have loved watching since seeing the Ice Bowl and Bart Starr quarterback sneaking at the goal line for the win.

In the past if I didn't like a team I didn't watch or rooted against them.  Now I don't like the commissioner.  Goodell is inept and full of it.  WHat do you do about that?

I also don't like a lot of the fans.  Booing Kaepernick?  Must be the same fans that like pro wrestling.

And finally what the f is up with all the country music played before and during games?  Come on!!!

Kap is an attention whore and deserves everything he gets. You can make a statement without doing it the way he did.

No, they are bypassing a shit quarterback who is a disrespectful shit and doesn't know shit about the offense being run for a shit QB that at least knows the offense.

Cutler's best season was under Gase.

Cutler sucks. So does Kaep. Keep in mind the year Kaepernick was doing his kneeling he was a back up qb for a reason. He sucked.

Plus, the fins can't sign a guy that wears and praises Fidel Castro...DUH....get over it. Economics. You don't want to alienate your fan base. Butts in seats are important.

Fins season is over before it even begins...

I'm hoping not, but Buccs should be improved this year. And, the jags...uh, or still the jags.

I find it VERY interesting that a LOT of players knelt along with and in support of Kap and his "protest" ..... yet he is the only one that is paying the price.

Going to respond to Larry even though he had me blocked for some random reason....

It wasn't about the kneeling only. It was about everything else the self entitled little shit had done.
