The NY Times review of "War for the Planet of the Apes" is as strong as they get.  I need to check others.  LA Times' Justin Chang is just as positive:  ""It would be hard to overstate just how singular this picture feels in its seriousness of purpose and in its cumulative power to enthrall and astonish."

Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk" is relatively short.  It should be must-see.

The National Theatre in London has had a sell-out with the two-part "Angels in America."  I was in London last month, and hadn't been able to get tickets.  Like the subject matter or not, the director did "War Horse" and it's a stellar cast.  It's in their largest theater and should be spectacular on the screen--they've become very good at doing live shows.  You can see live broadcasts at 2 pm and (probably) rerun in the evening, likely at 7 at assorted theaters, including Cinemaworld in West Melbourne.

Come fall, there's a sequel to "Kingsman."  I finally saw the original while binge-watching on a long flight.  Puppy dogs.

Spiderman was very entertaining. I had no interest until I saw the Rotten Tomatoes rating.

Transformers was the worst movie I've ever seen in the theater. Had my son not wanted to stay I would have walked out 20 minutes in.

Baby Driver is next on my list.

Baby Driver had some bad reviews but they were interesting, thoughtful bad reviews.  The director was perpetrator of Hot Fuzz.

Apes is something of a box office disappointment.
