So just for fun I picked up a "Clearstream Eclipse" HDTV amplified indoor antenna (~$40) to see what I could pick up. I've probably had it a year and didn't really play with it much.

Now I got around to attaching it to an upstairs north facing window in my home in Satellite Beach, and I'm pretty impressed.

I think I get about 20 channels in good quality (digital, most HD), with the usual PBS, a couple local networks, and shopping/spanish language.

The cool part is the the retro stuff. There is one station that's just vintage game shows (BUZR?). Another is old westerns and macho guy movies, and another that plays old series like Lost in Space, I Dream of Jeanne, Bewitched, Gunsmoke, all sorts of stuff (Decades?), more old movie (Movies! is the name of the channel).

It's a freaking time machine. On Buzr they have vintage commercials. "Try Sleep-Eze! As effective as phenobarbital!"

Yeah the Monkees marathon last weekend on 27-2 (yes channels with dashes!) was sick!

They might as well rename Grit (27-4) to the Walker Texas Ranger channel.

I've been on the wire so long I feel like I'm stealing.

I have an HD antenna on the roof, amp and splitter in the attic that feeds all of my drops.
My channel count is in the 50s, I haven't paid for TV in a decade.

Clear stream antenna indoor Out door mounted in attic. Although Nagi antenna mounted outside on galvanized Fencing pipe 10-15' air would b better less Likely to rust.. Using RG6 with splitter and amplifier. Then bright house with fire stick.

I've still got Speculum TV/Internet, but thinking about going Internet only.

Pulled plug about 2 years ago.
I use spectrum internet.
First year was 100MB for like $42.00 /month.
Now it's $66.00 /month, thinking about going back to cable for hockey.
The bar gets kind of expensive to watch sports all the time.
Plus I eventually got a little tired of the antenna shows.

24-2 is a PBS channel called "Create TV" that plays travel, cooking and craft shows.
Think I'm in love with a New Zealand version Martha Stewart, Annabel Langbein.
Also, Roy Underhill's "The Woodwright's Shop" will always get my attention.
