best time of year to be a jags fan right now, pretty excited about all our new guys, hopefully they can pull it together this season.

I haven't been following NFL that much yet. Good to hear Jags have new guys. I need a florida team to make the playoffs. I'm a Blake Bortles fan so that would be cool for the Jags.

We ended upw ith Jalen Ramsey and Myles Jack in the draft, who were both projected to be top 5 talents, along with malik jackson from the broncos and a handful of other free agents. We're also getting dante fowler back after he was injured and missed his whole rookie season last year, who was a top-5 talent in his draft. so basically we have 3 top-5 rookies coming in and a bunch of free agents on defense, along with another years experience for our offense that looked good last year.
like i said, best time of year to be a jags fan. optimism always runs high this time of year, we'll see how it plays out. |

Nice. Go Jags! I've been a Jags fan since they drafted Bortles and I soon realized how difficult it it to be a Jags Fan. Almost as bad as being a UCF fan! thus, I have thick skin!

The Jags have made big moves this offseason, and expectations are higher than ever. There could be as many as six new starters on defense alone. The fans and media have embraced this "new" Jags team and though there should be optimism, expectations need to be held in check.

I remember the panthers getting flack last year because josh norman and cam newton got in a scuffle in training camp, and they got their team to the super bowl with those guys being key. realistically I don't think this year's gonna be pretty, but i think next years gonna be sweet. |

bummer on the fins. I saw a little bit of the Jags-Buccs game last weekend. Blake Bortles and the first string offense is looking pretty good.
Maybe the Jags will make the playoffs. |

Yep, even you have lost that loving feeling about the Dolphins. Hey at least the stadium got redone. Looks great. I'm going to the Canes opener to check it out. Full report to follow. I canceled my NFL Sunday Ticket . Got tix to only one game. Won't be the fins... you see their schedule? Even with Brady out they will be lucky to start the season 2-2. 1-3 is more likely. I love what Adam Gase is doing and all, but it is going to take a while for the team to gel with the new offensive system ....and the defense is a wreck. No corners worth a damn and the linebacker play is suspect. |
