Hey, I didn't see that #14. Wow. Wouldn't that be something!

Alabama is more than likely going to win the NC again. They are super stacked once again.

I think Iowa is a sleeper dark horse. They return every one from an undefeated season and got embarrassed in the Big10 champ game and bowl game. They may be hungry enough to run the table.

#90 UCF with 6 wins. What's that guy smoking? LOL. New coach Scott Frost will make a diff, but I don't see 6 wins.

That report did not rate Bama more than 9th. Thanks for the link. Yea around this time of year a lot of people start looking toward the football season.

Miami got a major hire with Richt. Canes fans are pleased with that.

CFLdave, I think UCF will get on a major role at some point. Got to like the hire of Frost. Big school, good location. To me that is not a collage campus, that is a city.
On campus stadium is a plus. ( although if you see lightning , its time to haul ass)

My dream is to see all the Florida schools do well. I would love it if we could some how get a conference with more Florida teams in it.

I am hopeful with the change of AD in Gville that the U and the crocs will be able to renew the schedule. ( U v UCF also)

Frost hire was huge for sure. However, I don't expect much improvement until 2017. He has done great with recruiting in such a short time. I would be surprised if UCF won 2 games this year. I'm going to the games but have lowered my expectations big time. 2013 we finished in the top ten and won a BCS bowl...2015...Oh and 12....what a melt down. So, I tempered my enthusiasm until we win at least one game. It is not easy being a UCF fan.

It will be an interesting year as there are a lot of contenders this year. pre-season polls are just conversation pieces and typically are not accurate. There are too many variables to be accurate.

I listened to Nick Saban interview yesterday at the SEC media days. Sounds like Bama is stacked once again. They lost some assistant coaches so there is that. So we will see.

Yes, I like all florida teams as well. Well, minus USF. But, USF is suppose to have a pretty good team this year.

I also need a Florida NFL team to at least make the playoffs this year. Kinda have given up on the 3 florida nfl teams. But, am ready to jump on a bandwagon if one makes it!

I'd put a bottle of hooch against that.

On the opening Saturday, Oklahoma will play Houston, UCLA will play Texas A&M, LSU will play Wisconsin (at Lambeau Field!), Georgia will play North Carolina, USC will play Alabama and Clemson will play Auburn. Then Notre Dame will play at Texas on Sunday night, and Ole Miss will play Florida State on Labor Day night.

Some predictions from me: Houston will quickly jump into the top 5 after knocking off Oklahoma in the first game. Bama will drop some games due to coach attrition. Tennessee will win the SEC-East. Ole Miss wins SEC-West. Ole Miss beats FSU in first game of the year (Citrus Bowl). Iowa shocks Big Ten and wins it all. Washington wins the Pac-12. TCU wins Big-12. Clemson wins ACC and National Champs. My team UCF, wins 5 games with new Coach Scott Frost just shy of bowl eligible in first year. Dark Horse Nat Champs: Mich-state, Houston
