I don't think Oregon State is going to have Blue Beavers (I do have an Oregon Mammoth t-shirt, in honor of the bones dug up at the edge of their football field).  

I don't know how often new pigments go on the market, but this one looks nice; it even might provide UV protection, not that I'm expecting anyone to introduce Mel Gibson blue sunscreen.  

If it protects against UV, all the better for surfboards.

I had a blue surfboard and you couldn't be outside in the summertime for very long before the wax on the board started melting.
