Most of the footage is water powered flyboard with the water jets and hose post-processed out of the shot. Notice that the jet ski is never far away.

Youtube video in the opening post even had some drone footage. (supposed POV shot from high up)

No zoomed out continuous shot of the takeoff and landing and no closeup of the underside of the board.

I have one! it's on my back porch, but I can't get it to fly. Somethings wrong with the factory supplied Johnson rod. Works great for grilling chicken & burgers tho! maybe if u act right mrs dingpatch will slap u there & call u that, dingy?

Hmmmmm, , , , Franky is the guy that developed the original Flyboard (water jet pack). Lot, and lots, of buzz on the internet. International Business Times and Time Magazine considers it to be real. A "computer animation" friend in O'ville says that all the footage he has seen appears to be real. He particularly keys in on the effect of the jet blast on the surface of the water; not impossible to "fake", but very, very, hard and complex to do without some real computing power.

Ever present jet ski is a tell. He needs to fly over land and the shot needs to be zoomed out and continuous from take off to landing for me to believe it. No cut aways and no omnipresent jet ski.

Last video showed him flying by rowers and his jet wash was down range of them. But his apparent size made it appear that he passed between the camera and the rowers.  That made me think that the water jet was edited out and the prop wash added digitally in that part of the video. I would guess that the fly-by on the rowers was added in order to give the impression that he passed on one side of the rowers and the jet ski on the other. That would eliminate the possibility that he was tethered and riding a regular fly board. But, his jet wash track and apparent flight path seem disconected at that point in the video. He is too large relative to the rowers do be down range of them.
