The reason why the police don't show their own arrested officer's photos when they get arrested is because they choose not to. Their argument is that they provide a service that they are not required to provide and they can do it any way they see fit. The way they see it, Officers are actually presumed innocent until guilty, the rest of the people are shown in their booking photos and their charges are listed with the lip service disclaimer that all people arrested are innocent until proven guilty.
