I want to replace my kitchen counters with stainless steel.

Any suggestions on where I could go to have these fabricated?

Not sure, but check the steel to make sure it's totally smudge-proof.

We did the all SS appliances + sink at my last house and wound up hating it.

Quite happy with granite at old and new houses; the installer not so much...

Good luck with it either way!

You might get some information from a restraurant supply house . As for smudges, use "Sheila Shine", we used it at restaurants I worked at back when. Home depot, lowes has it. Safe for food service.

I got some custom stainless counters done at the pub. I used Bob at HMS of Brevard. He subcontracted the stainless work out to a metal shop and wrapped the cabinets with them. Looks good and is really functional. http://hmsofbrevard.com/

thanks Dave,

Any chance you could ask bob what metal shop he used? Can I see your counters and cabinets at the pub?

I've got a local handiman that did a great job installing my flooring so I'd like to keep using him - but the metal shop is just what I need.

Just heard back. He says he uses an outfit that only sells wholesale. Nothing retail. He recommended asking a cabinet shop for recommendations.
