Looking to get some recommendations for a cheap, CLEAN local motel in this area. I'm planning on bringing the gf along one weekend when there's waves to realx and teach her how to surf and wanted to see what a nice low key place is. I used to stay at the Sea Grape (RIP) growing up, and loved the feel of the place. I've stayed at the Floridiana (spelling?) and liked that also, but from what I remember they didn't have a kitchenette, which I'd like to have to cook (grill would work too). Being able to walk to the beach is a must (walking across A1A is no big deal). Thanks guys!

That one just south of 16th street is nice.

If you mean the Surf Studio, you are correct...I have stayed there many times over many years....One of a kind. Greg is a great host....very surfer friendly. Highly recommend.

Just a few hundred meters north of the old sea grape. Family run. Nice sand bar out front

I really enjoy the Atlantic Inn. It's near that giant pedestrian over pass little south of Pineda. Super chill. Across the street from the beach, free wifi, chairs outside the room to relax in, mini fridge and microwave. Like $50 a night. The couple who runs it are so nice, they'll give you a deal if you seem nice and surf heh

Seashell suites is nice & biking distance to inlet etc.  - not cheap for 1 party but if you've got more than 2 individuals  - it's a good deal - 2 bedrooms, full on kitchen etc.  North of that  - I'd stay at Beach Place Guesthouses  - slightly more expensive than it's neighbors but far superior to its competition - well worth the xtra 20 bucks or so.

I like this place also. Clean affordable, and central to all breaks.
