Jeff Ireland proves his ineptitude once again

i would say its time to break out the "Fireland" signs again but i never put mine away. i understand needing to fill the Brandon Marshall void but jeez....HBO loves it, they need a personality on the Phins for their "Hard Knocks" show. they should pay his salary this year. oh well, im used to the paper bag on the head by now...

You are completely wrong about this situation.

He is a low/no risk veteran that has something to prove that was picked up extremely cheap by a team currently lacking a #1 reciever. This also had nothing to do with Ireland as my understanding is that it was Philbin's call.

If he works out and makes the team, the potential upside is huge for the fins. If he doesn't, the team cuts him. This is win-win for both Ochocinco and the fins.

Also, I absolutely loved BM despite the fact that he seemed to drop every other pass last year. I also have complete faith in Bess and Hartline thriving in the our newly installed WCO. Bess and Hartline both have the speed, timing, and hands to make the plays required in a WCO.

He still has to make the team and not get cut. He was signed so cheaply that he by no means has a guaranteed roster spot.

Joke-o is a cancer, always has been. training camp will now be the Joke-o show w/ HBO cameras there to ham it up for. hell its not even known if the fins have a QB who could get the ball in his hands to begin with. maybe theres not much risk, but theres not much hope for this to work either.

He is a low/no risk veteran that has something to prove that was picked up extremely cheap by a team currently lacking a #1 reciever. Again I completely disagree with the risk factor and as for Chad being a potential #1 receiver for the Phins .... that is somewhere between laughable and scary

This also had nothing to do with Ireland as my understanding is that it was Philbin's call. Philbin reports to Lil Jeffry, perhaps he is smart enough to wash his hands of this train wreck for plausible deniability .... but based on his past track record I doubt it

If he works out and makes the team, the potential upside is huge for the fins. If he doesn't, the team cuts him. This is win-win for both Ochocinco and the fins. Chad has not had any huge upside in years and even in the years that he played well he was a cancerous distraction that was more trouble than he was ever worth .... now is skills have diminished and the cancer remains ... he is a lose-lose

Moore was better than over half the quarterbacks in the NFL last year in regards to QBR. Even more so if you take away the game Henne got hurt in and his first start where he was adjusting.

He also had no problem getting the ball to Marshall ...the problem was that BM kept droppiing passes.

I didnt say they were solid, I said they arent as bad off as you are making them out to be. When you have a quarterback with a better rating them 50% of the leagues, you arent doing too horrible.

Horrible would be having Henne still as our starter or Sanchez like the jets... with teblow as backup. lmao

yes, because that is what all Phin fans should hope for ... to have a half ass 50% QB.

I would rather have a top 12 quarterback than be one of the other 20 teams in the NFL with one that is worse.

If Ocho being Ocho means also topping a thousand yards in receiving, then I am ok with his silly behavior. Most of what he does is harmless anyways compared to the real trouble makers in the league.
