Have you contacted your web hosting company? Often they just need to reboot the server that your site is running on. It happens more often than you might think. (If it happens more often than you like...you might check into switching web hosting to a more reliable company for a few dollars more a month)
There are some great free website monitoring services such as SiteUpTime (http://www.siteuptime.com/) that will check your site automatically every hour and will send you an email or text if it's down. No reason not to have something like this running for you. |
