If you are looking for a really great book on ocean currents and the debris that travels around the world, check this book out form the Brevard County Library. I met the new Sea Bean lady and she mentioned the author was going to talk at the Sea Bean Symposium in Cocoa Beach. If he speaks as well as he writes, should be quite entertaining. Link

The book was written with the help of a professional writer--which seems to have been a bright idea.  The book's a highly readable intro to how water moves around in the oceans and to all that floating stuff.
