This is a super fun event. This year they added SUP division. The surfboard divisions are short enough for anyone to participate. Good time for the whole family. More info on 16streets.com. Don't miss it!

Yes. Three mile Lifeguard 10'6

And all the other divisions have a 10'6 limit this year.

couple of questions.

3 mile race? lifeguard, stock and unlimited class?
Any other events? sprints? swim, paddle, run?
can we beach register? How much?

*Menehune Boys: ¼ mile
8-11yrs
*Menehune Girls: ¼ mile
8- 11yrs
* Boys: ½ mile
12- 16 yrs
*Girls: ½ mile

*Junior Boys: 1 mile
17- 22yrs
*Junior Girls: 1 mile
17- 22yrs
*Mens: ½ mile
23- 35yrs
*Womens: ½ mile

*Master's Men: ½ mile
36 - 49 yrs
*Master's Women: ½ mile
36 - 49 yrs
* Old Dudes (Men): ½ mile
50 yrs & up
*Beautiful Old Dudettes (Women): ½ mile
50 yrs & up :
*The above divisions will be using surfboards
with a Maximum length of 10 feet 6 inches.

Stand-Up Paddle
One open heat for stand-up paddle - 3 miles
3-Mile Paddleboard Race (Trophies 1st thru 3rd)
Lifeguard- 10'6" & under
Men's (35 & Under), (36-49), (50 & Over)
Stock- 12' and Under
Men's (35 & under), (36-49), (50 & Over)
Unlimited- Over 12'
Men's (35 & Under), (36-49), 50 & Over)


Beach entries OK

First Race water start at 9am

Entry Fee $25 includes t-shirt and lunch. All proceeds benefit: Cocoa Beach Surf Museum, Surfrider and East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame

Bill and John, I've taken the liberty to ship a case of Endless Summer II pails to the shop today for you guys to distribute to the participants of Saturday's 3rd Annual Paddleboard Challenge. These collectible buckets are being presented on behalf of the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum.

Bill, it says first race starts at 9. im thinking about driving over from the gulf early. do you know which races you are running first?

im trying to make it over. sounds fun. it will be nice to put some faces to names.

Hey that wasn't me. I think you can thank Morgan Tweedie for that.

My only suggestion was an over 60 division. We compromised and got an over 50 division.
