That was lovely, and thank you for the pictures. Thank you to Allison for the paipo loan!

Thanks for the pics.

I think of Chris every time I paddle out including yesterday. Chris is always looking down and smiling on us in the lineup.

Really nice to see Janet still stoked and surfing!

That was very special and I felt honored to participate. This is something that we plan to include every year. No competing, just sharing and enjoying our love of the ocean the way Chris did.

Thanks, Janet and Allison, for letting me borrow the boards. It really opened my eyes to a new way of riding waves. It was my first time on a paipo but certainly not my last.

Good to see Chris' dad watching from the beach on Father's Day. I hope it gave him some comfort.

That was a blast. Thanks Dan for taking the photos and to Sean for letting me borrow his paipo.

I really wish I could have been there for this...I thought about catching a flight out for the weekend, but had too much work and couldn't get out of town. There hasn't been a day that has gone by since I've been here that I haven't thought about Chris and the deeper meaning behind conversations that seemed random at the time. I actually enlarged the photo of him with his quote about youth going counter culture in flowing with the waves, and hung it in the office in my house. It's the one room so far that's been fully restored.

Thanks for the pics Dan... It was good to see everyone out there having fun this weekend.

What a wonderful way to honor the memory of Chris...

Melody was showing off her inner grommet!! Looks like she was having more fun than any human being should be allowed to have...

Either that, or she forgot to take her "medication"
