The Supreme Court did not accept an appeal of the long squabble that started with a locked gate. The previous owner of the 89 acre property had charged a $10 entry fee, which did not come close to covering the expense of keeping the place clean and tidy, so the wealthy new owner simply locked the gate.
Lately, it's been open with the same $10 entry fee.
The Supreme Court accepts only a hundred or so of more than a thousand cases appealed to it every year. The justices apparently did not see this as a significant property rights case.
