Ok, just started having a problem with my GoPro 4, need to get it fixed. Is there a local place that works on them? If not, any suggestions that someone, has used with a good rep? (Won't power ON or charge) or even a suggest for fixing it myself if anyone has experience this problem before. Thanks in advance! Dave

Sounds like a dead battery to me. Can you just replace that? * * for the record, I'm no technician, nor do I own a GoPro, but did stay at a Holiday Inn Express

Thanks for the ideas ! Tried your suggestions... no, went to the site and even tried their solutions, nope. Googled a site, videocamrepair.com, sent in spelling out the problem. They came back with "Bad Power Circuit" and a estimate of $79. (3-5 day turn around) Going to try it out. What can I loose...... a broken GoPro

GoPro update : Have had the camera back for a few weeks. Working Great !!! It was a little more than they estimated, But there was more damage then I described to them and their estimated response. ($79 vs $130) All the time keeping while keeping me informed before working on it. I sent it out Ground and it took 3 day to get to Cal, a day for response and 3 days to fix, instead of just the Power Circuit was bad, I burnt out the motherboard, (trying to troubleshoot it myself). They clean the camera inside and out and calibrated. Free shipping back, again you can go overnight if you needed it faster, but it $$. did not need it that bad. I would recommend them if you have problems and are not that tech savvy !
