the rest are garbage..... but NORTH SHORE* may have the best collection of re-citeable one-liners EVER..... so that alone holds it in it's own personal place in infamy 

* when I was 13 I thought it was the greatest movie ever.  LOL

**  true story:  The biggest surf I've paddled out in at Sunset Beach (legit big... closeouts etc... it was a saturday and there were 4 people out)

I was scared and way undergunned on a 7-6.  A lifeguard got off shift and paddled out on a red beast of a gun and was sitting way outside of me, and started waving me out "come out here!" ... "I'm on a 7-6 and cant get one of those"... The he says and motions with his hands "WHEN THE WAVE BREAKS HERE.... DONT BE THERE... OR U GONNA GET DRILLED"   

LOL!!!  then he caught some bomb, and I dodged him and never saw him again.

I finally caught one wave, rode it in... then ran up to the house and packed my boards and headed to the airport.  prob the most memorable one wave session of my life  ha

I absolutely hate the surf scene in Apocalypse Now. Pure Garbage. It is an insult to Veterans like me and to Surfers.
