lawless Posts: 3179 Joined Forum: 07/24/2003	There are SO many good waves within an hours drive of Melbourne CBD. This whole wave pool thing is getting outta hand quickly. Surfers as a demographic are inherently cheap, yet all these different companies seem to think it's some sort of burgeoning market of disposable income schralpers.

I think the key is for wave pools to be successful is if the cost per wave, wave count, and quality of wave makes way more sense to stay locally instead of traveling elsewhere to surf. Sure there is still the whole travel and getting away thing to compete with, but umm yeah.
