I have a 15" separation in the canvas stitching on my double or sometimes triple board bag/coffin for traveling. -- It's canvas -- A co-worker gave it to me some 15? years ago, after he upgraded to a potato-chip packer -- I'm looking to travel soon -- I'm getting 2 new sticks glassed as we speak If anyone can point me in the right direction, in Brevard, would be great. I can do Orlando, or even North of the Cape. Thanks for your help! ------------------------- There's no surf on Wall Street! Could possibly find a shoe repair person
or a good seamstress who uses leather stitching for repair.

There's a good spot at the port that does canvas stitching and such. They fixed my fish bag. I forget the name but they are in those warehouses across from bluepoints marina.

There is Canvas Connection on South Patrick Drive in Indian Harbour Beach who I used a
long time ago. More recently in Merritt Island, I used My Old Shoes in Merritt Island, 434 E Merritt Island Causeway, (321) 449-8666 to repair the zipper on my board bag. They seemed to do everything from shoes to luggage. When I took my boardbag in, he knew exactly what it was and said we fix a lot of them. When I was at Merritt Island, ... there was a lady that came in that wanted zippers put in her leather shoes, no problem, so.... ------------------------- Puerto Rico 11 - 24 - 2013 |

There's a shoe repair place on Cypress just north of Eau Gallie Blvd. They did a serviceable job on my coffin bag that had a bunch of trim and handles ripped off. (The baggage carousel in Ft. Lauderdale Airport ate it.) It didn't look beautiful, but, it has held up and the charge was reasonable.

Find a marine/upholstery shop. My double bag split at the seem like the day before a trip and they fixed it up in like 10 minutes for $20.

I had an awning and zippered storage bag that is hanging on the side of my Popup that was pretty beat. These guys did a great job. The are just north of the Eau Gallie Csw (518) on US1. A&E Upholstery 321-254-6594
As long as you are there you should go around the block to Direct seafood and stock up.....I usually get 50 lbs of fish every time I visit. |
