Learn to eat starchy veggies as your primary source of calories; the new comfort food. Don't follow in Jay Adams, Sean Collins, David Eggers, Sean "Barney" Barron, Dean Mercer, Charles Todd, I can easily put 30+ people who passed just in the last 18 months. Google it and proove it to yourself. It all comes from eating Meat, Cheese, Dairy, Eggs, and all Veggie Oil. Veggie oil being the main culprit. Eating a Whole Foods Plant Based Diet with little sugar, salt and no oil can reverse Cardio Vascular Disease. As the waves get big, don't let this happen to you. Read Caldwell Esselstyn's book How to Prevent and REVERSE Heart Disease. You can be skinny, cholesterol under 150 and have a chrystalized cholesterol explode during exertion, causing a heart attack. Chrystalized cholesterol is cholesterol from another animal that enters your bloodstream and behaves unstable. Only 12% of heart attacks are are from narrowed arteries, 88% are from unstable plaques during exertion.

A lot of Surfers that I personally knew that had Haert attacks had one thing in common. They all were doing a lot of Cocaine in the late 70s and 80s now I am not a Doctor or Scientist. Just an observation.

The operative word was a diet that can REVERSE disease. On youtube look up Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn No Oil, or Dr. Michael Klapper Diet For All The Reasons, Dr. John McDougall "No Oil! Realy, No Oil!" - They are all old, skiny and say the same thing, a Startch Whole Food Plant Based Diet with little sugar and salt and no oil, is the only diet that can reverse the top 15 leading causes of death, and in so doing, help save the oceans. Michael Gregger of NutritionFacts.org & his youtube page is a great resourse on everything. My wife and daughters went whole food/plant based/oil free three years ago. I bought in 7 months ago and love it. I lost 12 lbs without trying (I have surfed far more that normal) and there really are good food options. Whole Foods has a vegan cheese called Heidi Ho. It is awesome although it has some oil. The black labs is the best. Homemade cashew cheese can go on pretty much everything. Brown rice and refried beans made in a pressure cooker, can cover lunches. This diet crushes diabetes too. The studies show that people on whole food/plant based/oil free diet have a 70% less chance of getting diabetes. There are tons of great YouTube recipe channels. Caitlin Shoemaker is one of the best. It’s worth a shot. |

So EVOO and Avocado oil prevent heart disease, but if you already have the beginnings of it and want to reverse it.... no oil?

All oils are very calorie dense, they harden your arteries(which decreases blood flow), they damage your endothelial cells, they have zero fiber and are highly processed ... so while there are good things about them, ultimately they undermine the benefit of a whole food/plant based diet. Little heart disease in France with lots of cheese etc. Greeks love their olive oils and the Med diet lets them live to their 100s on some of those islands. Not sure there is only ONE solution.

Unsaturated Vegetable Oils are Toxic. I eliminated them about a year and a half ago and it takes about 4 years to eliminate them from your body. I now use coconut oil, butter and some olive oil
