UNIT Parktech, which makes all sorts of wakeboard and other stuff.   German company.  Certainly no competitor to Wave Garden or the Slater project, but could be just the thing for a college town with a lake.

I love smart people.

Make it a little wider and it's game on.

Width definitely an issue, but looks like they are claiming relatively low energy required & a 'scale' up in size also.

Put a time limit or sell 'time'?

Looks like you could also do a balanced split right & left tube - would be good 'section' action going by varying the 'input'.

Kelly's wave def has the perfect 'look' , wall and tubular action, but how much of a wait between waves, and prob also uses a lot of energy.

Looks sort of fun, BUt in any case, "standing waves" are somewhat lame.

bored in less than an hour. but you could install one in the river up by indian harbor so all the orlando rippers could schralp the dookie flowing like the mighty mississip. $200 per hour. then they could raise enough loot to get a real solution to wrangle the turds that have become everyones problem.......
