Ah man... I was thinking about Pat the other day while moving a box that had some DVDs of my movie, being so far removed from everyone and everything going on at home, pausing briefly to wonder how Pat was doing, how Shadow was doing...

Now, I was fortunate enough to include many a shaper in my movie, but Pat, Pat was the one that made me go "Yes!" the loudest when he agreed to participate. Having never really talked much with him, I came away with the thoughts of what a cool, humble and unassuming cat he was.  

The great shaping room in the sky, or next life, or other dimension just got a whole lot better... Ride well brother, ride well...

Sean was the first guy I met In Cocoa Beach on a spring break in 89 that summer I moved to Cocoa Beach and the O'Hares were so nice they took me in like family.
Pat was such a great Human, such a nice humble person, he didn't say all that much but when he did you listened....
Rick Sosa and I visited him at the bunglo out back a couple years ago and it seem as if he hadn't changed since I first met him, always a kind word and a story or two...
I will always cherish my O'Hare Surfboards...

My wife met him in the hospital. She said never has she seen so many quality friends vist a patient. I wish I had known him. rest in peace my brother.

I'm gonna leave that one alone Chop and Thank You for your condolences!! Quality is how we roll; Long and Deep is the O'Hare Army!!!

I heard about this yesterday, very sad. 

Didn't know him well but saw him occasionally around CB over the years.  A while back did some good natured haggling over one of his boards in Roy's shop.  He ended up making ME an offer I couldn't refuse!  

He made a fine board.  That is a grand legacy.
