Seemed to me RCs was a lil more spread out then. The NE swell rights were more boxy, and the lefts thru the mid-break reform could run south past the bank. I recall many of those lefts kinda bending and looking like a skate park wall. I don't recall it being especially packed, but there were some legit paddle battles. I was pretty aggressive back then at age 28, but never had any serious incidents. Lums and other nearby breaks were also very good back then on good RC days. We often opted for Spanish House or the Inlet on those great days. ------------------------- ... positioning and selection |
