the solution to pollution is dilution , it's going to take time . It's not worth a rash or major infection .

was kinda thinking the same thing. figured a little more time and rain to make the frapp go away. maybe a cold front helps? chime in weather nerds.  but the real question still stands.....does anyone know definitively whether or not the duece is still flowing or if they have finally put the plug in the jug? all work and no surf makes zach a dull boy. been terrible seeing all the pics of fun waves. with the exception of all the horrible butt turns and flailing etc. guys, not all pics need posting lol. you can delete 90 percent most of the time. just cause cousin eddy from oviedo got to his feet does not make it photo/post worthy, just sayin

that is far from truth....and sadly, Im sure your not the only person who believes that, therefore our lagoon will continue to deteriorate into oblivian!

criticize the guys posting pics of people doing butt turns, but here you are posting about being too scared to surf due to pollution and are waiting until said pollution "washes away from the rain"????

that is so LOLZ

the lagoon could use a good flush of clean water to dilute all the crap it has flowing into it , the beach will mix much faster with all the volume of much cleaner water. I've seen water bad water can do to humans , I can wait.

Are you guys referring to the lift station that was pumping into the Indian River around Indian Harbor? I wouldn't imagine that's getting into the surf unless it has made it's way down to Sebastian Inlet. Am I missing something here?

River water looks brownish naturally when it goes out the inlets into the ocean.

Can't find any link, observation on Turkey Creek of the amount of flow under the Pt. Malabar rd. bridge is extreme and been flowing like that for many weeks!

I don't know if it's still flowing.

I thought they had opened the structure back up for the October deluge but don't see any other info.

oh - and for daner - I wooden ship on the water.....

edit:  I don't think they've got a structure in place that can flow Three Forks Marsh back into Turkey Creek; so, that water is probably just Palm Bay ooze.

The level of flow coming from the west of the bridge is extreme, just an observation!

Inlet is a bit, um, warm...
