Normal fares.  I took a look at the Courtyard Marriott, which is currently closed (please call) but the website seems to be selling rooms at normal prices for Oct. 3 onward.  

Of course it's an entirely poured-concrete former Air Force hospital and likely has impact windows.   Dunno about electricity.

They probably have a big generator, but I'm not sure access to fuel for that long. I fly down Nov. 2 to Aguadilla. Still no word from my neighborhood though...not sure if I will have a house to sleep in.

El Nuevo Día is doing good reporting, as best they can.  Miami Herald reports San Juan airport suffered severe damage so every passenger has to be cleared by phone call to Miami.  

Lots of stuff is waiting at the port in San Juan.  No trucks to carry stuff to supermarkets.

I learned yesterday that my old farm house was no mas. No roof plus wall damage...too old to repair. Saddened.
