I was two days into heavy antibiotics for something else when I got bit, so that's a start, but I'm still not going to take any chances.

Sorry to hear, Cole.  If the teeth contacted your bone stay on the biotics like clockwork.

Stupid shark. All of you are welcome.

R&R gets old even if you have a good reason!

I drive south past Patrick every morning for work; O-Club is full, the Light is full, RC's Lums, Mark....all stuffed to the gills. Pickups with boards out the back, empty surf racks, everybody is smiling, boards everywhere, bikinis, calm wind, sun is shining and all I am capable of doing is work?

I feel like the little kid that didn't get what he wanted for Christmas and I am 50! Is being a surfer a blessing or a curse?

It's a blessing only when you can go. For now, and every minute we miss the good days, it is a curse. Ignorance is bliss, but we have the internet to make us feel miserable! I feel your pain.

LOL. We all know that feeling. I remember driving down I95 with all the palms blowing from the west winds knowing it was going off and I was stuck on a bus with 40 patrons going to south FL for work! ARRGGHH!

In general I'm very lucky my boss lets me book days off a couple of days in advance.

No problem.

With all you have been through, you more than deserve it.

On time....
.... for the waves and to surf.

If I wanted to rest, I would go to work.
