I have a Toyota Matrix, I think they stopped making them 2013.  mine, 35 mpg, can fit my 9'6" snook rod, 9'0 LB, and a weekend of camping gear and coolers with the back seats folded down (not all together).

Originally posted by: miker I had a prius for 4 years before I switched to my current vehicle. The back seats in mine folded down flat and could stack numerous boards under 7' diagonal and by flipping the front passenger seat down, I could add in a couple of 10' or less longboards. Or if I had a passenger, fold one back seat and front passenger seats down and still fit multiple boards with room for a passenger and my JRT. Was still getting 45MPG on my very short daily drives <5 miles ...and anything over that would get between 48-54 depending on how I drove and where. No battery issues at all with it at 4 years old.
Was making fun of me for having a prius in another forum. Hahaha What a guy...

But yeah, Prius was one of the most versatile cars I've ever owned. Big for a small car, and gas mileage is incredible.
