What's the wind doing?

Solid clean swell this morning w/ good NW wind that's turned more N now still big sets sweeping through on the outside and a heaving mid break here in MB.

Grab that one board you never get to ride and go for it.

Mackin session. 8 ft plus clean early. Some sets I'd call 10 ft but they broke all at once. Rode a 7 6 funshape. Made most of the waves but a few sectioned off.

Surfed up in the hook (kiddie pool) and it was much smaller and super easy paddle out. Wish I had gone just a little further South for more size. Glad to finally getting my hurricane surf paddling muscles back! Looks like they will be needed the next few weeks.

Wind was calm to NW early dawn but then picked up harder from the North. Tide was dropping so probably will help but wind is prob mucking with it now.

NFL and beer time. A lot of my friends still do not have electrical power. I just got mine back a couple days. Nice to get back into normal life!

Yeah took one look at the usual spot and headed up to surf w/ Lori. Still plenty big but cleaner until the wind kicked in. Fairly easy paddle out considering what was coming in.... According to the FPL tracker map there are still 11,590 customers still w/o power out of 308k, hopefully they will get them hooked up soon.
