My focus has tentatively now changed from survival to Surf. With the downgrade or is should this be considered an upgrade .

When and where will surf condition reach their most epicnous before falling off? Not sure it will be possible to get there but it's worth a try.

Yeah too soon. We're all not in the clear. Give the surf a rest for now. If you must check. Surfline has a forecast.

Too soon to talk about post storm surf? Tell that to WC or ross. Just trying to get something on the positive side going. Its going to be tough bout with the adjusted forecast it might effect surf.

Tip has Tuesday, Wednesday RED, so yeah, this is what we used to enjoy from these storms. We are, afterall, surfers and this isTHE forum for that.
We wish no harm upon others nor ourselves.
I hope to be surfing Tuesday, selfish as that may be to say.
It's been a crappy summer for the working stiff and there has to be some payoff from this beeotch named Irma.
I get where mushyman is coming from, but watching Corey ripping every day I was working and covering the bases has come to a head.
Giddyup.

I think the less west she moves the earlier offshores are a better chance, come Monday evening. If she keeps moving west we will have more southerly winds, as opposed to full SW. She looks to be on a more northerly track as of 11am Sunday. Hopefully she continues to weaken with the dry air pulling into her.

Start checking it as soon as you feel the winds are safe on monday afternoon.  I think strong offshors are going to kill it quick.  Nothing left tuesday afternoon.
