Hi, I’m doing a project and would like to be able to accurately compare small wave surfing to wake surfing.  So far everything the internet labels as small surf is still waist high and above.  I think I remember sing a skim boarder on a knee high peeler going down the beach that may work, but can’t find it or anything else at the moment.

For an example of wake surfing and how small their waves are please see https://vimeo.com/66693725

check out ben gravy's youtube page. He likes finding novelty waves and they're often way under waist high.   https://www.youtube.com/user/BenRobNUB

edit- just found this one of a tiny wave, not really ripping though.

Look up "skimboarding liners"

Not sure why, but skimboarders tend to call point breaks or even just long rolling waves that have some what of an angle to the beach a "liner" regardless you can find some high tide malibu videos of skimboarders catching the shorebreak.
