Low tide was a foot and drained out, closed out. As the tide came in around 530-6 it had a nice punchy push, picked up to around waist plus on sets, broke about 20-25 yards off the beach, and didn't close out all the way to da sand, tailor made for my Chris Burch quad. Around 730 it stopped all together. Would normally consider this classified information, but what the hell..had it all to some turtles and myself...

You were lucky. Lifeguards and 1st responders emptied that little stretch both aftrns. I saw it Friday morning too, had to be at least a 9'er bustin bait right the shorepound. If you've ever seen one like that doin its thing, it'll leave.an indelible mark on your brain somewhere. Awesome display of power way beyond our ability to get outta the way. Seriously-
