Yup.  The Birdwell stretch polyester model gives the look without the feel.  

In 1977, while sporting my OG Birdwells, a friend and I walked from San Onofre to Trestles for a session. By the time we got back to the San O parking lot, , I felt like a dragon had nested in my taint and was incubating offspring. Apparently it was offended by all the movement, so in anger, it reached down and clawed my inner thighs until they looked like a festered up red ant bed. Never again my friends. Never again.
