still good on the written report for both buoys , also I've always wondered how surfline gets several different swells data when the main site only show the dominant one

Yea I have the buoy sites but I listen to NOAA radio regularly. Can't figure WHY they stopped replying wave data on those buoys. Strange.

Over the years I've heard the wave heights on the radio and sometimes not. It seems to vary from my perspective. They can be contacted, as there is a questions and comments link at the bottom of the page

Also the Dial A Buoy system is still fully operational Dial

I noticed that on Dial A Buoy station 41009 is not reporting wave data either, however 41116 is. They may just need to turn it on since redploying.

They were definitely reporting wave size and period for the 20 since it was deployed. Thx for the link I'll let them know I'm missing the data.

The reason I started a twitter account was to get the feed from the 20 mile bouy. It is back and reports wave height and period.

From NOAA Radio in Melbourne:

There is an intermittent problem in the way the newly deployed buoys are reporting sea state. Sometimes the sea height and period are getting on the radio and at other times they are not. We will continue to troubleshoot the issue. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

surfline?  Who needs that when they give you things like this?  41009 bulletin.

Well, of course there are the pretty pictures.
