Going into San Juan early in the morning on Sat for a cruise and dont have to board until like 4pm  and looks to get some surf aimed at them.I have a driver,is La Ocho worth it or is there somewhere within 30 mins that is way better? Thanks!

My surf buddy at work who is from PR is literally ALWAYS raving about the spot called "La Ocho".. Supposedly a hidden (but not so hidden) Gem down there.

La Ocho (bus stop #8) aka "El Escambrón". Lock your car and don't leave any valuables in there. There's also "Little Fiji" on the other side of La Ocho's rock. Other nearby breaks are Ocean Park (a few outside reefs, you can paddle to them but it's kinda far) in Condado and then past that there's Tocones.
