It's definitely do-able there, and closer to OIA for Kelly's friends and Surf Expo visitors. But maybe too close. Any closer to MIA and it would instantly be overrun by Brazilians.

At least in Jupes the water will stay a few degrees warmer year round, but that could be risky from the brain-eating amoeba (Naegleria fowleri) perspective.

Maybe this location is just some good-will parking relief for the Reef Road crew.
