Sort of discussing and debating at the same time. IF you had 2-4 weeks time(during Cocoa Beach flat spells) and were only looking to consistently surf, where would you go? With the quicker, dirtier, cheaper, and less crowded options listed first. Where would you go?

My list would start with

1 El Sal

2 Nica

3 Dominican Republic

4 Puerto Rico

5 South Costa

6 Secret Spot by Volusia county?

Any places which you could safely forego the rental car and also consider primitive camping to cut down the cost?

Cape Hatteras looks to have an odd, messy, brief south swell on Saturday.  Probably better conditions around here.

I think based on your list PR is probably less expensive than El Salvador.....I get Hopper alerts for flight from Orlando to Aguadilla for as little as $129 round trip!

South Costa Rica would be the one I would look at.

PR is less expensive , just not seeing surf there now.

Offshores in Nica are brutal this time of year.

Way too cold in OBX.

Secret spot Volusia would be my second choice.

El Sal would be a distant choice.

So if you are a surfer I wish you the prosperity that allows you more time to pursue the salt water dream, and the true happiness that comes from warm water, clean waves and the companionship of your fellow surfers. If you are an internet troll just spewing bs then f off.
