Just booked airfare to Guadeloupe for mid March. $229 direct from ft lauderdale. Looking to stay near some consistent surf away from large cities and preferably on the mountainous side of the island. Any recommendations? Thanks. ------------------------- |

Went to Barbados on my honeymoon. Surfed summertime Soup Bowls which was kinda mushy trade swell. Great island and awesome trip. ------------------------- |

I was in Dominica once and saw some pretty tasty waves coming into an incredible little bay on the eastern side. Dominica is one island south of Guadalupe and I have heard that it gets good there. Looks like an interesting island with lots of mountains. You can island hop pretty easily too so if you get board head to Dominica. It was one of the coolest places I have ever been to. Steer clear of Antigua though, not much surf, too many peeps and not nearly as pretty as Guadalupe and Dominica.
